My xbox 360 wont connect to internet

HI, Does the xbox 360 built in wireless adapter support the 5Ghz wireless connection on my 3700 router? I can connect to the 2.4Ghz okay. I know it's working as I can connect my iPad 3 to the 5Ghz with no problems! Cheers
